CHarlotte’s Best Sightseeing Tour

Ready to see Charlotte the way it should be seen — through a haze of laughter, questionable facts, and one too many hornet jokes?
Hop aboard LaZoom’s rolling comedy bus for 90 minutes of true(ish) history, outrageous characters, wild sketches, and weird Charlotte stories you won’t hear anywhere else.
What You’ll See

At the Corner of History & Hilarity
LaZoom’s Hey Charlotte! tour crams more than 250 years of Queen City history into one wild ride. We’ll take you from the Catawba people who walked these river paths 10,000 years ago, through Charlotte’s 1768 founding, and George Washington’s infamous dig, calling it a “trifling place.”
You’ll hear about the 1780 Battle of Charlotte that earned us the nickname “hornet’s nest of rebellion,” and see the Mecklenburg Declaration plaque dated May 20, 1775 on display in Uptown.

See Charlotte’s Iconic Sights
The tour starts at Camp North End, then the purple bus climbs “up” to Uptown, so named because early Native trails led to this higher ground. From there, it rolls down Trade Street, once a Catawba trade route. You’ll pass Independence Square’s statues, gleaming bank towers, the Federal Reserve, Spectrum Center, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame, complete with pit-crew hijinks.
After cruising South End’s streetcar corridor, the bus stops for a 10-minute break (and a local brew) at Monday Night Brewing, before heading into the historic Fourth Ward as we make our way back to Camp North End.
As the tour rolls on, don’t be surprised if a few unexpected characters crash the party, from royal riffraff to biscuit obsessed mascots. The comedy is fast, the jokes are flying, and the weird gets wonderfully weirder the deeper you go into Charlotte’s story.

Meet
Your Guides
Meet the Double Dribblers! Alex and Andrew, two overly enthusiastic hype guys who treat every tour like game day. They bring big energy, bigger opinions, and exactly zero actual basketball skills.
When they’re not arguing about the best biscuit in town or misusing a megaphone, they’re shouting their love for Charlotte from the rooftops.
Born to entertain and raised on sweet tea and Queen City pride, these two are here to make sure your ride starts loud and stays fun.

“Had a blast on the ‘Hey Charlotte’ tour! Alex and Andrew were absolutely hilarious. Saw a good portion of the city as well, definitely recommend!”

“Hands down the funniest ride ever!! Andrew & Alex’s bombastic energy had us laughing non stop. Charlotte – y’all got a good one.”
